Pharmaceutical science degrees

Our courses explore the essentials of pharmaceutical science, formulation science, pharmacology, biology, biochemistry, chemistry and drug discovery and delivery. Students will gain practical experience through labs and final year research projects.

Introducing the School of Science at the University of Greenwich

Professor Joshua Boateng introduces the School and its ‘learning by doing’ approach to undergraduate and postgraduate teaching.

Our courses

All our courses are accredited by the Academy of Pharmaceutical Sciences (APS). They can be studied either full-time or part-time, with our undergraduate courses also offering a sandwich year in industry. The extended degree also includes a foundation year.

Communities and societies

Our active student-led societies offer a space for personal and academic growth, as well as new opportunities to make lasting friendships. Students can take part in activities throughout the year, both through the department and via the wider Students’ Union.

Research and partnerships

Research and scholarly activities inform our learning and teaching and complement the enterprise activities that we provide.

Join us as a research student

Graduates from our undergraduate science courses can move on to our MRes degree. Normally, you will need a 2.1 or First. If you have a suitable research proposal in a science discipline, we can help you apply to the university and find the appropriate supervisor.
