Human nutrition and health degrees

Our courses

Our degree in human nutrition is accredited by the UK Association for Nutrition. You will study a variety of areas, including physiology, metabolism and microbiology. We also offer an extended degree with lower entry requirements, which has a foundation year to prepare you for degree-level study.

Our active student-led societies offer a space for personal and academic growth, as well as new opportunities to make lasting friendships. Students can take part in activities throughout the year, both through the department and via the wider Students’ Union.

Join us as a research student

Graduates from our undergraduate science courses can move on to our MRes degree. Normally, you will need a 2.1 or First. If you have a suitable research proposal in a science discipline, we can help you apply to the university and find the appropriate supervisor.
