Vertigo Venture’s Impact Tracker software enables users to plan for, define, measure, evidence, and curate their research impact with the aim of reporting on an impact journey at any point in time. The software can help plan for and structure impact stories for any audience including Impact Case Studies for the REF and the narratives with KEF. Using a logic model approach and impact taxonomy, the workflow encourages academics to build plans and pathways for generating impact, and to determine what indicators they need to measure to establish successful realisation of impact. It facilitates impact evidence gathering and storage, as well as the documentation of progress along an impact pathway across the whole lifetime of an impact journey, in a very practical and straightforward way.
