Digital Arts Research and Enterprise

DARE brings together theorists and practitioners to conduct research that re-thinks the possibilities for creative practice in the digital age. To achieve its aims, the group draws upon a range of perspectives and expertise, bringing new disciplinary mixes to bear on emerging topics of societal significance.

Combining insights from Design, Sound Studies, Visual Arts, Architecture, Critical and Cultural Theory and Computer Science, the group's research encourages new approaches and 'disruptive thinking' to establish or reshape a field of study that will transform our understanding of the significance of Digital Arts in contemporary societies.
