GO TRADE is a €5.4 million project which is co-funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) through the Interreg VA crossborder (England- France) programme.
Dr Petros Ieromonachou (principal investigator) and Dr J. Andres Coca-Stefaniak (co-investigator)
The project interprets markets (both traditional and specialist) as testbeds of innovation for entrepreneurs and as major contributors to tourism destinations through the visitor economy.
The main aim of the GO TRADE project is:
- to increase visitor numbers to heritage market towns in England and France,
- to support markets and their host town centres in these countries,
- and to research what factors have the biggest impact on their success or failure.
Project start: July 2017
Project end: March 2021
