This master’s in International Business - which offers the chance to undertake a placement - will prepare you to become a specialist in the international business sector.

The MA International Business with placement degree is designed to address evolving market dynamics and employer expectations. As the business landscape becomes increasingly interconnected and technology-dependent, this programme bridges both theoretical knowledge and practical skill application.

Through a curriculum containing current research and international academic theory, the degree equips students with an analytical approach, managerial decision-making, and real-world problem-solving skills.

We will provide you with a comprehensive understanding of global business strategies, sustainability, network analysis, international trade, and cross-border operations. You will gain insights into how businesses operate in diverse cultural, political, and economic environments, developing the skills necessary to navigate and lead in the global marketplace. You'll develop a range of intellectual and practical skills, preparing you to become a specialist in the international business sector, capable of driving innovation and growth in a global knowledge economy.

This degree includes the opportunity to enhance your employability - and elevate your career - with a placement year, working full-time for a company. It’s a chance for you to immerse yourself in an industry, apply your knowledge and put theory into practice. It should also help you develop your professional skills and assist you in starting to make industry connections. Graduates with work experience are highly sought after by employers and often secure higher-level positions.
