Nancy Wong

Nancy works in the Research and Enterprise Services Team and provides research support and coordination across the faculty, primarily for the Centre for Research in Language and Heritage, Centre for Communities and Social Justice and the Undergraduate Research Hub. Nancy also provides financial and administrative support as Grant Holder Manager to an international COST (European Cooperation in Science and Technology) Action network, ensuring the successful implementation of the Action activities.

Her main responsibilities include:

• Organising and delivering research events such as seminar series, writing retreats, and symposiums.
• Promotion of internally and externally facing events and activities in collaboration with multiple teams.
• Providing administrative support for income-generating Pre-sessional English Courses.
• Implementation and support for knowledge and exchange activities within the research centres and hub.
• Developing and maintaining research centre and hub webpages.
• Liaising with academics to guide processes for internally funded research projects.

Nancy also has extensive knowledge and experience in student support and programme administration gained from her previous role as School Administrator.
