Paul Hodge BA (Hons), MSc

Lecturer in Games

Paul is a seasoned 3D modeler and texture artist, having contributed to over 30 published titles since 1994. His work spans notable studios such as BioWare, EA, Natural Motion, Sony, Stainless Games, Take-Two, and Zynga, and contributions can be seen in games like BurnOut Paradise City, CSR Racing, Duels Of The Planeswalkers, Extreme G, Jade Empire, and Revolt.

With a focus on environment art and user interface design, Paul has a deep understanding of game art asset optimisation. His expertise extends into VR and serious games, having worked on a collaborative prototype game with secure mental health service users and staff.

Currently, Paul lectures on Version Control and Asset Management, Accessible Interface Design, Games Design & Development, Game Engine Rendering Techniques, Final Year Individual Project, and Extended Realities
