Dr Nikki Ghadiminia PhD, MSc, BEng, MCIOB, FHEA

Senior Lecturer in Built Environment

Dr Nikki Ghadiminia is a Chartered Construction Manager and Senior Lecturer with a strong focus on digital technology. Her academic research journey, which began with a PhD in optimising information security in digital construction, has enabled her to develop practical frameworks in areas such as Building Information Modelling (BIM) and smart buildings. In her prior role as an Academic and Research Director, she has gained extensive experience in building national and international partnerships and managing accreditation processes.

Nikki is also passionate about promoting diversity and inclusion in engineering and has led projects aimed at fostering collaboration among minority groups. Additionally, she is deeply interested in research in neuroarchitecture and the impact of the built environment on the experiences of residents, and is open to research collaborations in this area.

  • 2022- £67K ,Royal Academy of Engineering (RAENG) funded research project- Research into the integration of Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) principles in Climate Change risk ‎management efforts. (In partnership with London Climate Change(LCCP), Transport for London (TfL) and The Crowne Estate)
