Fazle Chowdhury BSc Hons

Fazle Chowdhury is an experienced lecturer at the University of Greenwich, where he teaches digital business operations, IT, and mathematics to BSc degree and apprenticeship students. With a strong background in both academia and industry, he brings practical expertise to his teaching, particularly in managing BSc and MSc projects focused on AI, machine learning, and their applications in banking, healthcare, and engineering.

His teaching experience extends to programming languages such as JavaScript, SQL, and Visual Basic, which he has taught to both secondary school and university students.

Before transitioning to academia, he held significant roles in leading financial institutions, including JP Morgan and NatWest, where he worked as a project manager and senior business analyst. These positions involved managing complex projects, developing training materials, and mentoring teams, skills that he now applies to his academic role.

Recognised as an Associate Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, Fazle is dedicated to student engagement and curriculum development. He actively works to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application, ensuring that his students are well-prepared for the demands of the industry. He is passionate about teaching and is committed continuous learning and self-improvement, pursuing further academic qualifications to enhance his teaching and research capabilities.
