Liam Hamilton
Clinical Simulation Fellow
Liam graduated from the University of Greenwich in 2016 with a BSc (Hons) in Paramedic Science where he went on to work for South East Coast Ambulance Service. He later became one of the first members of the newly founded Special Operations Response Team, with additional training and responding to Chemical, Biological, Radioactive and Nuclear incidents as well as ballistics and Marauding Terrorist Attacks.
Finishing his career in the ambulance service as an Operational Commander and Team Leader, Liam came back to the University of Greenwich in 2023 as a Clinical Simulation Fellow with an interest in decision-making, leadership and human factors in prehospital care.
Liam wants to use simulation as a means to better prepare students for the heavy responsibilities put upon them as registered clinicians.

Responsibilities within the university
To support and develop the faculty in the creation and delivery of clinical simulation. To develop new and innovative concepts within the simulation.

Research / Scholarly interests
Liam has an interest in the psychology of performance and decision-making in simulation. In addition, he is currently writing his MSc Dissertation on Out of Hospital Cardiac Arrest decision-making.
