Kasandra Matthews
Postgraduate Research Student/Postgraduate Research Teaching Assistant
Kasandra is a mixed-methods researcher who focuses on sex crimes and gender-based violence from a psychological background. She is a MPhil/PhD student at the University of Greenwich. She completed her bachelor’s in Psychology at the University of Pittsburgh-Johnstown, and her master’s in Forensic Psychology at Middlesex University.
Her thesis encompass gender, sexuality and the rough sex defence. In her free time, she volunteers with the Violence Against Women and Girls Research Network and works for other institutions in various positions, such as a research assistant and sessional marker. Additionally, she is always open to collaborating on projects and research endeavours.
