Teaching Fellow in Public Health

Itohan joined the university as a Teaching Fellow at the School of Human Sciences in September 2023. She attained her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Benin in 2017 and completed her MSc in Global Public Health at the University of Greenwich in 2022. Before her postgraduate studies, Itohan worked as a clinical pharmacist in tertiary settings in Nigeria. Afterwards, she explored the community pharmacy practice. She has also served as a product research executive to investigate the effectiveness and safety profile of drug molecules and is a Research Fellow with the OnTIME consortium. She is actively involved in teaching at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, covering topics such as health needs assessment as well as management, leadership and entrepreneurship in public health and social care. She also provides supervision for both undergraduate and postgraduate projects.
