Heather Shekede
Senior Lecturer in Children's Nursing
Heather is a Senior Lecturer for Children's Nursing in the School of Health Sciences at the University of Greenwich.
Heather joined the university in 2014, bringing significant clinical experience in children's nursing to her role as a course leader on introduction to children's nursing, for Year 1 child branch student nurses, as well as all year groups within Children's Nursing programme.
Furthermore, her experience of working practice in health visiting and public health contributes to teaching on child development. Heather supports students in clinical placements as a Link tutor and is also a Personal tutor for child branch students.

Heather's research interest is the impact of cleft diagnosis in families. She also intends to look into effective mentoring for student nurses.
