Charles Everard
Clinical Skills/Technical Learning Resources Manager
Charles has over 20 years’ experience in Surgical/Clinical Skills and Simulation, running and developing medical and surgical courses across a wide range of clinical disciplines. Activities include the development of course and simulation material as well as filming and development of online material of live procedures for national and international events. In 2018, Charles won a service recognition award for my work within Healthcare Education at the Zenith Global Healthcare Awards
Prince2 qualified, he has a vast amount of experience in developing simulation spaces, understanding clinical objectives in bridging AV requirements to deliver technology enhanced learning, for best practice in Healthcare Education. Charles has successfully developed two flagship training centres for a hybrid teaching approach. Working closely with stakeholders, and industry partners to ensure maximum exposure and income generating revenues are realised.

Responsibilities within the university
Charles leads and manages The Technical Learning Support Team, ensuring the effective delivery of education within the Faculty specialist teaching facilities, managing the workload of staff to ensure skills teaching provision is complemented by a high level of technical and administrative support. running curriculum teaching and bespoke training events. This includes all aspects of organisation required to deliver a full programme of clinical skills/simulation and TEL activities across Health, Education and Human Sciences, at the University of Greenwich.
