Annie Dennis
Lecturer in Paramedic Science
I graduated from the University of Greenwich in 2017 with second class honours in Paramedic Science. I Proceeded to complete three and a half years with the London Ambulance service before moving into new areas of practice. I transferred in July 2020 to the Heart of Kent Hospice where I was a Paramedic within the hospice community team. My role involved helping a wide range of patients with life limiting and terminal illness to stay in their own homes. In 2022 I started working for the British transport police as a custody paramedic. I really enjoyed this line of work as it gave me autonomy and the opportunity to explore a rarely experienced area of paramedic practice. In 2023 I transferred roles again into primary care where a stayed for 1 year before being offered my current role as paramedic science lecturer at the university where my paramedic journey began.
