Teaching Fellow in Counselling

As a psychotherapist, Andras has worked with different charities in the past, providing low-cost and crisis counselling. He now works in a small private practice. Initially trained in Psychology he went on to complete an MSc in Therapeutic Counselling here at the University of Greenwich. He joined the teaching team on the programme and also teaches on the undergraduate Psychology with Counselling programme since 2022.

Responsibilities within the university

Andras teaches across the 3 years of MSc Therapeutic Counselling and is a module leader for Introduction to Counselling on the BSc Psychology with Counselling programme.

Awards

Member of the British Association of Counselling & Psychotherapy.

Research / Scholarly interests

Andras is an integrative psychotherapist with a leaning towards the psychodynamic and existential schools. He is interested in primal emotions like anger and fear as well as family dynamics and attachment that shape adult personalities and they way they contribute to challenges in emotional regulation in adulthood and other mental health difficulties.
