Dr Xianmin Liu
Lecturer in Finance
Xianmin Liu is a Lecturer in Finance at Greenwich Business School, University of Greenwich, with a research focus on corporate finance (especially M&A), sustainable finance, and corporate governance. He received his PhD degree in Finance and Certificate in Learning & Teaching (Distinction) from Queen Mary University of London, UK. Before that, he obtained his MSc in Management Science (Accounting) from Guangdong University of Foreign Studies and MPA from University of Maryland, College Park, US. He started as the role of Lecturer in Finance (Teaching and Research) at University of Greenwich since September 2023.
Responsibilities within the university
Module tutor: Personal and Professional Development (PPD, BSc), Introduction to Finance and Economics (BSc), Foundations of Scholarship (MSc), Principles of Finance (MSc).
Personal tutor for a group of first-year Business with Finance undergraduate students.
Actively engage in research activities, including but not limited to presentations at top finance conferences (FMA, EFMA, IFABS, etc.) and potential publications in high-ranking finance journals (ABS 3 or 4)
