Dr Magdalena Langosch
Lecturer in International Business
Dr Magdalena Langosch joined the University of Greenwich in November 2020. She obtained a PhD in International Business from Loughborough University in London. Previously she studied International Business at the University of Groningen in the Netherlands. During her Undergraduate Studies, Magdalena spent one Semester at EWHA Womens University in Seoul, South Korea, where she focused on Intercultural Communication and the Korean Language. In 2016, she graduated Cum Laude at Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University in the Netherlands.
Research / Scholarly interests
Magdalena’s main research interests focus on international business partnerships and the role of culture. Current research projects specialise in cross-border Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) and the role of regional dialects as a proxy for culture, as well as the role of acquisition experience on international M&A performance. Applying quantitative research methods, Magdalena is interested in research topics such as: Cultural Development and its impact on Economic Behaviour, International Business Partnership Formation and Performance, Innovative measurements for Culture in the Business Context and Economic Geography.
