Dr Lili Yan BSc, MSc,PhD

Senior Lecturer in Finance and Banking

Dr Lili Yan is a Senior Lecturer in Finance and Banking at the University of Greenwich and a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. She obtained her PhD from the University of Essex and a master’s degree in financial mathematics from the University of Exeter. Lili is a research member of Institute of Political Economy, Governance, Finance and Accountability (PEGFA), with a special focus on areas on volatility modelling and forecasting, asset pricing, and sustainable finance. She is an academic tutor and leading and delivering several core banking and finance at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.

  • Module leader for level 5 Banking: Principles, Practice and Regulation
  • Module leader and international moderator for level 6 Finance
  • Instructor and moderator for postgraduate Investment Management
  • Academic Tutor for lever 4 students
  • Postgraduate dissertation supervisor
