Senior Lecturer in Finance

Helen is a Senior Lecturer in Finance.  Prior to joining the University of Greenwich, Helen was an Assistant Director of the Financial Solutions group at Insight Investment Management which she joined in 1991 (formerly Rothschild Asset Management) specialising  in the design and implementation of innovative techniques for maintaining and enhancing understanding and control of market and credit risk across the fixed income and equity client base.

She obtained her MA in Mathematics from St Hilda's College, Oxford in 1988, became a registered representative, was awarded associate status of the AIMR and whilst completing her investment management qualifications was awarded the Extel Financial Securities & Investment Prize and the Financial Training Investment Regulation & Practice Prize. Helen is also a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.

Responsibilities within the university

Helen lectures on the following courses:

  • Risk Management
  • Project Management

She also supervises MSc and PhD dissertations.
