Senior Lecturer: Programme leader for MA Marketing Management
Dr Klairoong Hawa Phairor joined the University of Greenwich in 2006. Before joining the university, Hawa was an assistant executive for AVIVA Thailand and a lecturer at Regent Business School. Since joining the Business Faculty, Hawa has been Programme Leader and has developed and led a number of courses on the BA and MA degree programmes. Her areas of expertise include relationship marketing, consumer psychology and behaviour. She is an experienced researcher in both quantitative and qualitative methods.

Research / Scholarly interests
Hawa's interest in consumer psychology has driven her to study MSc in Psychology after joining University of Greenwich. She is interested in applying cognitive psychology and social psychology to consumer decision making. In addition, since getting involved with the Samaritans, Hawa is also interested in caused-related marking and social marketing.
Hawa is currently researching into:
- Sport marketing and social identity
Hawa is currently supervising a PhD student in the areas of:
- Ethical consumption among Chinese consumers.
