Under the DSE Regulations 1992 there is a legal requirement for the university to provide information, instruction and training to DSE users to help them identify risks and safe work practices.
This training is provided to all staff deemed DSE users by way of an online DSE training and assessment package supplied by WorkRite.
To ensure that DSE Users have understood the training the online course will be followed by a short test. Once the training and test have been successfully completed the DSE user will be requested to complete a self-assessment of their workstation.
Any issues resulting from this assessment will then be escalated to the local DSE Assessors for action.
