We provide enhanced support levels for standard devices, which are fully compatible with all our teaching and office spaces.
We offer a laptop and an on campus workstation as standard to all our staff (please see below for a breakdown of asset provision by role):
On campus workstation:
*One monitor is provided as standard, however if a second monitor is already in place at the workstation this will be eligible for replacement at end of life. If a second monitor is currently not in use and is required then this would be chargeable.
Standard laptop:
A high performance laptop, 2 in 1 laptop or MacBook Pro can be provided as an alternative to a standard laptop, where supported by a business case and justification.
Currently, standard laptops are manufactured by Hewlett Packard. The specifications for standard laptops and alternatives are shown below.
Please use our IT Asset Request Form to submit requests for IT equipment, including laptops, monitors, docking stations, headsets, keyboards and mice. Items requested for home use will need to be approved and recharged. Please ensure requests are submitted at least 10 working days before they are required.
