Library: Document Delivery

Document Delivery is a service enabling you to access books and articles not held within the university libraries. First check LibrarySearch in the Portal to make sure that the item is not already held within the university libraries.

If you are unable to find the item you require complete a Document Delivery Request form. Please give as much information as possible, including a source of reference. If you are requesting an article from a journal please sign the copyright declaration on the form

Key Service Information

Features and Benefits

  • Allows reading/reference material to be stored within the VLE
  • Allows use of one set of source material by an entire class
  • Request: Articles; Papers, Theses, Photocopies
  • Secure electronic delivery of articles via PDF downloads (Must be downloaded within 30 days and viewed within 14)
  • Notification of arrivals via your university email address
  • Maximum of 5 request

The service is available to all members of university staff and students

    09.00 - 17.00 weekdays other than University and Bank Holidays
