Hybrid event - online or Queen Anne 010
Teaching staff are invited to join this hybrid online and in-person event to hear more about the COP and help set out its objectives and format. The increasingly urgent need to respond to many sustainability issues asks questions of how we are considering it in our teaching so our students can develop sustainability competencies through their learning. We are aware many academics already touch on this and many too are looking for support to begin the integration of sustainability elements. It is expected the COP will play a key role in encouraging deeper exploration and application of sustainability thinking. It will provide a platform to share resources, experiences and identify gaps and needs to progress application across our faculties. This group will explore how academics will consider sustainability in the application of the Curriculum Framework (CF) which includes sustainable development as one of the eight CF Dimensions. If you are interested in attending or being updated about sustainability application in teaching at Greenwich please sign up here. This COP will support the delivery of all 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals, especially SDG4 (Quality Education). Tuesday 8 February 4-5pm - you can join in person at Queen Anne 010 or via Teams (link).
