Are you a phenomenology researcher with interest in health and social care? Are you curious about hermeneutic phenomenology? Then save the date for the second of two amazing in-person events this Summer featuring leading researchers at the University of Greenwich, London.

Hermeneutic Phenomenology in Research Praxis - A conference for those working in, aspiring to work in, or curious about hermeneutic phenomenology. This event is for any qualitative researcher wishing to engage with experienced researchers and practitioners in the field and to network with others working in hermeneutic phenomenological theory and practice.  The conference will be held in the grounds of the historic UNESCO World Heritage site of the Old Royal Naval College in Greenwich, London.

We are delighted to work with UCLAN, DCU and AUT to bring this exciting event to you.

Speakers announced

This one-and-a-half-day conference is led by four internationally recognised phenomenologists

Prof Lesley Dibley (University of Greenwich), Prof Gill Thompson  (University of Central Lancashire), Dr. Mel Duffy (Dublin City University and Prof Susan Crowther (Auckland University of Technology).    Come and hear Dr. Polly Livermore (GOSH) talk about the power of poetry in research with young children, Professor Liz Smythe (AUT) speak about phenomenology in practice and Professor Annie Vandermause (UMSL) on the use of hermeneutic phenomenology in the study of health and well-being.
