Pellet Delivery Drivers Course

Quality and safety issues in pellet delivery. UK Pellet Council approved

Courses will be delivered online via MS Teams. All courses start at 09.00  and finish by 13.30

In-company courses can be arranged for larger numbers of delegates from one company. Please get in touch for more details.

Course fee

£175 per delegate

A Certificate of Attendance will be provided after completion of the course exit questionnaire and receipt of payment.

  • Operational Aspects of using a Tanker;

A 'Hall of Shame' has been compiled to highlight real examples of bad practice.

Is this course for me?

This half day course is tailored for the drivers of lorries and tankers responsible for delivering wood pellets to site. Management will also benefit from attending to gain an understanding of issues encountered and methods of preventing or dealing with them.

Pellet manufacturers and multi-national companies handling pellets might also benefit from our range of short courses for industry, covering a variety of bulk materials handling subjects.

Course Leader

Mike Bradley, Professor of Bulk and Particulate Technologies and Director of The Wolfson Centre. He has worked internationally on design and troubleshooting of bulk solids handling as a commercial consultant and research expert for over twenty years.

Please note that The Wolfson Centre reserves the right to substitute leaders of equal quality should this be dictated by circumstances beyond their control.

Venue

Your own home or office! You will be provided with a link via email to join the session on MS Teams. You will need access to a laptop or PC. The course does not work well via your phone.

Cancellation

Delegate places may be credited up to 2 weeks before the start of the course, at our discretion. After this time, no credits will be available. In this case, delegates are welcome to transfer to another course free of charge or substitutions can be made. In the event of a delegate leaving the company within 2 weeks of a course date, their registration will be transferred to a future course for their replacement/another staff member.

If a high number of cancellations are received for any one course, we reserve the right to cancel and re-schedule the whole course.

Where a company books an in-company course, the fee will be agreed at the time of booking and cancellations will not be credited.

Course certificates

Attendance certificates are provided for all delegates upon completion of the course questionnaire and receipt of payment.
