Project outline

This dissertation presents the intention, design, and anticipated impact of DEFENDifyU, emphasising its goal to make learning about online safety accessible, engaging and effective.

The project employs a user-centric approach to design and incorporates interactive elements such as quizzes and games to facilitate active learning and retention.

By adhering to WCAG 2.1 guidelines, DEFENDifyU ensures that the educational content is accessible to all users, promoting inclusivity.

Central to the project’s development is the use of agile methodologies to allow for flexible design and implementation, ensuring that the platform can adapt to the evolving needs of its users and the changing landscape of digital threats.

The expected outcome is an improvement in users' understanding of cybersecurity principles and their ability to apply this knowledge to protect themselves online.
