The EBCISS project is focused on providing accessible support to small to medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
Our support is provided by expert academics through bespoke consultation delivered over 35 hours spread over four to six months.
This approach is designed to align with the government’s agenda of economic growth in the context of a knowledge-based economy.
The founding principle of this project is to instigate dynamic and foster long term relationships with ambitious local SMEs by where we can grow and develop together. SMEs make up 99% of UK businesses where many lack the confidence, expertise and resources to invest in their growth activities.
Examples of the work which has been done to date include the co-development of a marketing plan, creation of digital assets, performance data analysis and long-term strategy development.
Projects are based on the needs of the business and expertise of the academics.
Working with both social enterprises and commercial outfits, EBCISS is inclusive of all businesses and leads the way in developing new products for new markets for the centre.
