The University of Greenwich Sanctuary Scholarship supports asylum seekers and refugees in pursuing higher education, emphasizing inclusivity and diversity. It covers tuition fees, accommodation and provides additional support for living expenses. This initiative showcases the university's commitment and supporting an inclusive academic environment.
From March 1 to 8, 2024, the University of Greenwich is celebrating Refugee Week, this year, the theme is "Home." This early celebration aligns with the academic calendar, encouraging students, faculties and guests to explore the different aspects of the realities of refugees and displaced people. Through the different events and discussions, the university community will support and will serve as the preamble of International Refugee Day on 20th June. Please join us in this transformative week as we celebrate the strength found within belonging and finding a safe space, and a “home”.
We’d love to see you at some of our events.
