The image below shows the area affected, which is where our new library building will be situated. The buildings remain open and the triangles show entry points.

This work forms the start of our approved planning application to deliver a Learning Zone at the centre of our campus, incorporating Fry, Grey and the new library building, deliver refurbished and enhanced Skills labs in David Fussey, provide additional teaching space and relocate all of our specialist teaching facilities.
The temporary hoardings will be replaced with site hoardings in due course and will remain in place while the work to transform our campus takes place.
Update: please note parking spaces to the rear of David Fussey will be unavailable while work takes place.
Our intention is to keep noise and disruption to a minimum, but if you do experience unacceptable noise levels please email AveryHillImprovements@greenwich.ac.uk providing as much detail as possible.
Work is also beginning inside David Fussey to deliver enhanced Clinical Skills and Simulation facilities for the Faculty of Education, Health and Human Sciences which will be available in May 2020.
These FAQs provide answers to questions already raised. If you have any questions about the work taking place to improve Avery Hill please get in touch with us by email to AveryHillImprovements@greenwich.ac.uk
