Library Skills (Green)
Looking to find out how to access digital resources and support? Or maybe you’re looking to access BOB, our on-demand TV and radio service for education, which you can use for work or pleasure? You need our Library Skills sessions, which cover all this and more.
Academic Skills (Orange)
Academic Skills sessions cover topics from academic writing, evaluating data and critical thinking to running successful online presentations. With sessions for New Students and those Returning to Study, as well as a confidential service from our Royal Literary Fund Writing Fellows, published authors to help continuing students improve writing skills, there is something for everyone. Just got a quick question? Join our Quick Stop sessions to access rapid support and advice on study skills, wellbeing and faculty matters.
Digital Skills, including Maths and IT Support (Purple)
Find out more about the Digital Skills you need for your studies and to prepare you for your future career. Run by our Student Digital Champions, these sessions can help you use Teams more effectively, conduct group work online or deliver an online presentation.
Run by our IT Service Desk colleagues, our IT Support Sessions will introduce you to our essential systems, good IT practice and keeping safe online, as well as how to access IT support at Greenwich.
Our MASH (Maths and Statistics Help) tutors support students of all levels and subjects, from Engineers to Nurses, with maths, statistics or data analysis.
Employability and Careers Advice (Red)
From careers advice to writing your CV and updating your LinkedIn profile, through to Interview support to Post graduate help, the Employability and Careers Service can support you with your career goals.
Activities for Student Wellbeing and International Student Welcome (Grey)
We have a range of activities covering the wellbeing support available from the university, guidance from MIND on managing your mental health, and tips for international students, including an introduction to British Customs and Culture with our university Chaplains.
