If you’ve just joined us, read this article to find a summary of information for timetables, collecting your Greenwich Gateway card, our Welcome Hubs and international welcome.

Our Welcome Team have put together lots of helpful information for you including how to register.

Our Welcome Hub page shares our Welcome Week activities for each campus including a Jargon buster to help navigate university terminology – there is plenty for you to see and do!

Your timetable

The link to access the timetable is https://timetable.gre.ac.uk and this will take you directly to the 24-25 timetable display.

You will also be able to access them from the 'Teaching timetable' link on the ‘My Learning’ tab of the Portal from this date.

Before arriving

Please also ensure that you have completed the online registration and document check stages before coming to campus to collect your ID card.

Collecting your Greenwich Gateway ID card

You can collect your student ID card over the course of the next few weeks.

You can collect your student ID card from any of the main campuses and don’t have to go to the campus that your degree programme is based.

Our Welcome Team are here to support you via phone calls, e-mail and LiveChat to help get you ready for university, including registration and the latest updates on events that will help you settle into university life.

International Welcome Programme

Our free programme is specifically designed for international students and will help you prepare for student life in the UK. Find out more by visiting our International Welcome Programme page.

You can also join the International students welcome and Q&A session on Friday 10 January, 10am – 11am. This session is specifically tailored for international students and will give you the knowledge you need to adapt to studying in the UK.

Greenwich Mentor Mates - Peer Mentoring Scheme  

Connect with fellow students

Our Student Peer Mentoring Scheme, Mentor Mates, is designed to help you adjust to university life. When you join as a new student, you'll be paired with current students through the Vygo app based on your preferences.

Enjoy benefits like building a support network, boosting confidence, and receiving guidance during your transition. Stay flexible with informal meetings and even become a mentor yourself later. Joining is easy - log in with your University of Greenwich email or download the Vygo app.

Greenwich Students' Union

The Greenwich Students' Union (GSU) are available on each campus and have a range of activities planned for Welcome Week. Events are taking place across our campuses welcome you to university, including Freshers Fairs at Greenwich campus on 17 January and Medway campus on 15 January.

They also offer support, represent you as students and have clubs and societies for you to join - find out more and view all events on their Welcome page.

Our Digital Student Centre

Our Digital Student Centre is your space to find answers to your questions, helping you get the support you need when you need it.

It is home to AskUoG, our central hub for student information, where you can find support on a range of topics related to your student life. Plus, if you can't find the right answer, or you need more personalised support, you can create an enquiry and our specialist teams will respond.
