TLDRoffon

A series of talks and engagement sessions will take place for two weeks starting Monday November 4

To mark the launch of the two weeks of activities, an update has been made to the university’s Greenwich’s Sustainability Annual Report.

The new information paints a picture of significant progress against the university’s key sustainability objectives as well as detailing its progress against the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.

By 2030 the university aims to be known as one of the best universities for sustainability, with greener practices at the heart of teaching, research, partnerships and operations.

The education provided by Greenwich supports students to graduate as productive, ethical citizens who are passionate about sustainability.

There are a range of activities taking place throughout the two weeks, both online and on campus, to inspire students and staff in their sustainability ambitions.

The university will also mark COP29, which starts on 11 November 2024. COP29 brings together member counties to assess efforts to tackle the climate emergency.
