A shout out to our students
Last season, university students and alumni took part in a penalty shootout at half-time. This year, things will be different because of Covid-19 but there are still opportunities for students to get involved - look out for:
- Claire Kelly, Club announcer
- Megan Haxell, Club Commentary team - Megan will answer questions asked by the Charlton commentator at half-time, and will announce the winner of our prize draw to win the signed shirt.
- Dylan Parr, Match day DJ
Celebrating our partnership
We've enjoyed a long relationship with Charlton Athletic and are pleased to see it continue. Jane Harrington, the Vice-Chancellor, said:
Both our institutions are big parts of the community and many of our students enjoy working with the club, and of course attending matches.Hopefully that can happen again soon.
Jason Morgan, Chief Executive of Charlton Athletic's Community Trust (CACT) added that
The connection with our local university is beneficial for ourselves and for the students who gain work experience with a number of different departments within CACT and the club. There have been students that have come across and worked with the club's medical team, filmed on match days and taken part in various other areas of work."
