The Sabina Project is a grassroots, student led project, which aims to raise awareness around violence against women and girls.
The project forms part of research, learning and educating the community locally and nationwide about violence against women; and aims to raise money for Sabina's family and also delegate money to women’s charities.
There are two events taking place on the one-year anniversary of Sabina's death on Saturday 1 October to remember Sabina.
'Sabina Nessa Memorial Garden'
Come and join the unveiling of Sabina's memorial garden, here at the University of Greenwich, a day to celebrate Sabina's life and remember Sabina.
Jebina Islam, Sabina's sister will be raising the 'Sabina project flag' and unveiling the garden.
President of The Sabina Project, Kareema Motala, will be commemorating Sabina's life and speaking about her experience starting the project in honour of Sabina.
