Business students from the University of Greenwich have joined with students from across London to tour some of the capital's entrepreneurial hot spots.
London Venture Crawl saw 15 universities in a fleet of 10 buses explore the capital's top innovation hubs and workspaces for new business ideas in the city.
Rachel Brown, Head of Enterprise and Innovation, at Greenwich says: "This event introduced students to London's entrepreneurial eco-system.
"Starting at Generator, in Greenwich, the tour gives a sense of what's going on and the opportunities and help that are on their doorstep. At The Collective in Canary Wharf the students could see why co-living spaces - where people live and work - are important. At Spitalfields there was a chance to speak to traders and see how the market can launch to bigger things.
"Buzzbar in Shoreditch held a workshop on branding and gave each of the students 30 minutes free branding consultancy, which was great.
"There was also a pitching event, first at our Powerhouse, then there was a 'final' pitch at Plexal. These events are good because the students, and staff, can hear what's being worked on. People can also make great contacts for now and the future."
Greenwich students partnered with Queen Mary University to visit The Collective, BuzzBar, Old Spitalfield Market, and London Met Accelerator before meeting up with 420 students from 13 other London universities at Plexal in Stratford.
