Dr Mark Carrigan and Professor Kit Zhang will deliver inspiring talks on AI and digital pedagogical practices.
Dr Mark Carrigan is Lecturer in Education at the University of Manchester. He is programme director for the MA Digital Technologies, Communication and Education (DTCE). He co-leads the DTCE Research and Scholarship group. He has written or edited eight books. Social Media for Academics is now in its second edition. Generative AI for Academics will be published later this year.
Professor Kit Zhang is Professor of Inclusive AI at Buckinghamshire New University. They research data-driven complex system design and analysis including control, filtering, and optimisation. They are a Senior Member of IEEE, the technology and engineering professional body. They are an Associate Editor for leading journals, including the Journal of Intelligent Manufacturing (JIMS).
