The exhibition, running from the 5 March - 2 April 2022, will feature exhibiting artists including renowned film maker John Smith and artist Chila Kumari Singh Burma, whose work recently transformed the front of Tate Britain for the 2021 Tate Winter Commission.
The show features a variety of pieces that use painting, film, animation, sculpture and interactive installations to explore how buildings and architectural sites can cast shadows over personal experiences.
As part of the exhibition, a Q&A and talk will be held at 3pm in the Stephen Lawrence Gallery, 17 March.
The talk will be hosted by art critic and writer Dr Cherry Smyth who will be joined by the curators and artists of the exhibition. As part of the talk, Dr Smyth will introduce the artists and curators from Hidden in Plain Site and ask them to contextualise their work before taking questions.
