The ground floor of the new library building will provide space for collections and study spaces; above the library will be office space for academic staff.
During the 20/21 Academic year the library will also incorporate space on the ground floor of Fry and Grey, offering a range of study environments and integrating with the Fry Lab and Academic Skills support.
The new library will open in May 2020 and during the work to move the library we will keep disruption to a minimum.
The library will move to a permanent home on Southwood site as part of a future phase of the project.
