University of Greenwich and London School of Business and Finance launch first BA Hospitality Management in Singapore

London School of Business and Finance in Singapore (LSBF) has announced its first ever BA in Hospitality Management, in collaboration with the University of Greenwich, who is ranked first in London for graduate prospects in the Hospitality, Events Management, and Tourism subject group (Complete University Guide 2019).

LSBF in Singapore has been offering hospitality education since 2013, with a rich portfolio of professional certificates and diplomas. Having received official approval from the local governing body, the school now wish to expand its educational offer in this sector with its first Hospitality Bachelor of Arts programme.

Dr Venkatesh Naganathan, Director of Studies at LSBF in Singapore, said: "Throughout the years we have gathered great experience and results with our tourism and hospitality courses. With the addition of the BA we are looking to build on this knowledge and equip aspiring professionals with further skills to succeed in this field."

The BA (Hons) Hospitality Management will be delivered by LSBF and awarded by the University of Greenwich, with the first intake set for May 2019. During the 12-month long programme with up to three intakes per year, students will approach different disciplines applied to tourism and hospitality including Strategic Hospitality Management, Financial Planning for Hospitality, Revenue Management for Hospitality, Tourism, Innovation and Product Design.

The launch of the first ever Bachelor of Arts programme is part of the successful development LSBF in Singapore has shown over the past years, including important academic achievements and recognition through international awards.
