It is great to see the hard work of our incredible lecturers, researchers, technicians and professional services staff recognised.

The guide evaluates factors including satisfaction with teaching quality and the student experience, as well as degree completion rates and graduate employment prospects.
The university is ranked as the #1 modern university in London and top overall in Kent for graduate prospects. This measure is based on the activity of leavers 15 months after graduation and whether or not they entered high-skilled employment and/or graduate-level further study.
Meanwhile, vital subjects taught at the University of Greenwich have seen sharp rises in the Guardian university league tables.
Chemistry is now at 10, having risen over 10 places in the last year. Criminology (10), Forensic Science (9) and Education (48) have also moved significantly up in the Guardian University Guide 2022. Mechanical Engineering also featured strongly, rising to 12 in the latest figures from 44 in 2017.
The Guardian’s league table is specifically aimed at students who are trying to choose a course, meaning it ranks universities on factors that are important to young people. These factors include how much students will benefit from the teaching, whether current students like the university and the subject, and what their chances are of getting a good job.
