Target Connect is here

TLDRoffon

Launching today (24 April), Target Connect is your new one-stop shop for workshops, events, job opportunities and more. We’re excited for you to familiarise yourself with the platform and read all about how it works.

Brought to you by the Employability and Apprenticeships team.

What you can expect

Target Connect offers similar opportunities to InfoHub, but with a few extra features. We have listed some of these below for you:

  1. Book appointments with our Employability Skills Advisors to review your CV, help complete an application form or prepare you for an interview
  2. Register for an event such as Careers Fairs, Employer Insight Days or Workshops
  3. Apply for job opportunities such as industrial placements, internships, or graduate jobs.

You can login to Target Connect using your existing university login credentials. Check it out here: Target Connect.

There are also new changes to the Greenwich Employability Passport (GEP) which will come into effect for the next academic year. We will be testing these over the summer with academic colleagues, so the details of the changes have not yet been finalised. What we can say, is that the skills area of Target Connect, which is linked to the GEP will concentrate on the following Employability Skills:

  • Adaptability/flexibility
  • Career Development
  • Critical Thinking
  • Digital Proficiency
  • Enterprise and Entrepreneurship
  • Ethics, Diversity, and Sustainability
  • Interpersonal Skills
  • Personal Skills
  • Resilience
  • Teamwork

We will be sending out more communications and updates over the next few weeks, through email, our website and our Instagram and LinkedIn, so please keep an eye out for these.
