Cloud First is a Digital Principle of our Digital Enabling Strategy. Cloud First will allow us to benefit from scalability, support our use of as-a-services solutions and will make our IT environment more sustainable.
We have reviewed over 300 of our on-campus applications and this 3-year project will move most of them to our secure university governed cloud.
For most of our staff and students, you should not notice this work taking place, it is all running in the background and should have minimal business disruption. However, this is a key piece of work which will give us a sustainable, scalable and agile IT environment.
