Join us in Green Fortnight, 4-15 November

TLDRoffon

Bigger and better than before, this year we will mark Green Fortnight with two weeks of celebration, information and inspiration to support our ambitious sustainability ambitions.

Thanks to the contributions of our students and staff, we have made great strides in making Greenwich greener. Together, we can do even more to deliver sustainability excellence in all we do.

There are a range of activities taking place throughout the week, both online and on campus, to inspire students and staff in their sustainability ambitions.

By 2030 we want to be known as one of the best universities for sustainability, with greener practices at the heart of our teaching, research, partnerships and operations. Our education will support students to graduate with the skills needed for the green careers of the future. Our teaching will be complemented by research that answers some of the planet’s most pressing questions.

We will also mark COP29, which starts on 11 November 2024. COP29 brings together member counties to assess efforts to tackle the climate emergency.
