TLDRoffon

Our Student Wellbeing Service is available to all students that need support. Here we share an introduction to the team and available services

The Student Wellbeing Service offers a range of support services to help you make the most of your time with us. These include mental health, psychological wellbeing, counselling, disability & dyslexia support, the STAART initiative and sports & wellbeing services.

The Sports & Wellbeing service look after the gyms & sports facilities at Avery Hill and Greenwich, as well as offering the online fitness classes via Spectrum life.

Here is a short video about some of the things we offer.

NEW: Student Wellbeing Drop in (online via MS Teams) – launched on Wednesday 1 February 2023.

Students can now access a new service being delivered by Student Wellbeing Services.

You will be offered a 15-minute appointment to discuss your wellbeing concern in confidence with a staff member. They can then offer tailored advice or signpost you to helpful resources or services (both inside and outside of the university). Our aim is to support you in your University of Greenwich experience.

We offer a confidential service, meeting with one student at a time. The Drop-in session is held 3 times a week, online via MS Teams. Follow the MS Teams link and you will be met by a wellbeing co-ordinator from the Student Wellbeing Service. The drop-in service will work on a first come, first serve basis and we appreciate your patience as we support each and everyone of you.

Drop-ins will be offered on the following days and times (please note that these may sometimes be subject to change).
