Enactus UK supports students and young people across the country to engage in social action and social enterprise. In the UK alone, 3,500+ students in over 65 universities create hundreds of student-led businesses, impacting over 15,000 lives each year.
Enactus Greenwich was relaunched in October 2021, and developed their first scalable project – BeeSustainable. BeeSustainable aims to preserve the declining wild bee and bumblebee populations in London.
At the 2023 Enactus National Expo, Enactus Greenwich was selected as one of the top five teams, beating over 60 universities to make it to the national finals.
During the finals, each team delivered a 12-minute presentation and answered five minutes of questions from a panel of 100 judges. For this year’s final, Enactus Greenwich competed against Durham, KCL, NTU, and last year’s winner and UK Enactus World Cup representative - Nottingham.

Karolina Dzielak (BA Business Entrepreneurship and Innovation, Year 3), president of Enactus Greenwich said:
"I am extremely proud of what we, as a team, have achieved in the past year. We have worked extremely hard on our two projects and for the first time in history Enactus Greenwich got to the finals of the Enactus UK National Competition.
"Despite going up against 4 teams that are a lot more mature with multiple established projects and funding, we held our own and did amazing."
Enactus is built up not only of students, but a support system of external coaches and internal university advisors. Internal advisor Joe Blomfield has said:
“The Enactus Greenwich team are fantastic! Getting to the finals is an absolutely huge achievement. The standard of the competition was unbelievably high, and the team were competing against universities like Nottingham, who have won numerous times, and KCL, who have been in the finals every year for the past 5 years.
"Greenwich reaching the finals within 2 years of our projects starting shows that we are a force to be reckoned with!”
