You can set up your Wi-Fi profile before you arrive on campus, so that your devices connect as soon as you arrive. To access eduroam you must use your full username@gre.ac.uk login credentials, e.g. ab1234c@gre.ac.uk, plus your university password.
The geteduroam app is the easiest way to make all the changes your mobile device needs to connect to the eduroam service. The app is available for iOS, Android 8 onwards, and Windows. If you’d rather set up eduroam another way, full information is available on our wireless support page.

Allow location sharing to register your attendance
Share your location to register your attendance using your mobile device. This is so we can verify that you were in attendance. Your location will only be shared at the point you register your attendance, i.e. when you scan the QR code or use the passcode. Your location will not be shared at any other time.
If you have previously chosen not to allow location sharing, you may need to change your device or browser settings to allow it again. Our page on registering your attendance shows the steps for Apple and Google Android devices. Other steps may be required depending on your device, browser, and how you have configured location sharing.
