Dyslexia Awareness Week (DAW) aims to increase further understanding and awareness around dyslexia. Dyslexia is a learning difference which affects skills involved in reading, spelling and writing.
Dyslexia Awareness Week provides us with a great opportunity to showcase what it means to be dyslexic – to understand and celebrate the strengths and qualities it may bring; as well as to consider the challenges and how support can be provided where needed.
To mark the week the Student Wellbeing Team and the Disability Staff Network have organised a range of events, so check out the events page for further details.
